Inception Untuk Garam

Sometime last week , aku menonton dua movie - Inception dan Salt.

Salt - kisah aksi yang menarik dengan cerita yang mudah difahami. Angelina Jolie serba boleh, dan dalam kisah ini, aksi2 beliau boleh tahan juga.

Inception - cerita untuk orang yang berfikir. Yang aku suka ialah konsep yang diketengahkan bahawa idea berkait dengan emosi.


Salt dan Inception mempunyai talian yang menarik dalam membincangkan konsep persepsi. Bagi Salt, bagaimana persepsi seseorang berubah kerana kasih sayang seorang insan yang tidak tahu diri sebenar si isteri. Manakala, Inception mencabar persepsi benar dan ilusi.

Main2 Gerhana Di Bulan Baru

Bila kita buat perubahan yang baru, kata2 pakar, kita harus melakukannnya untuk sekurang2nya 28 - 30 hari sehingga ia menjadi tabiat ( habit ) kita. Memang mula - mula adalah susah, tetapi bak kata pepatah, alah bisa tegal biasa ...

Kerja

- Syukur midterm break akan tiba. Need to rest and relax for a while and I have a certain high place in mind.
- google work - berkata 500 patah perkataan kepada alat mobil Google Android adalah satu kerja yang meletihkan dan menarik. Letih sebab its continous. Menarik sebab kata2 yang diucapkan rupa-rupanya search terms popular dalam Google Malaysia ... tema : tempat, nama artis2, ahli politik, cari tempat .. dan di penghujung dapat t-shirt Google size L .. kalian rasa saya boleh pakai baju ini ? ;-)



Peribadi

- sudah 4 tahun berkahwin dengan Linda. Kisahnya pelbagai .. pahit, manis, masam ... yang penting, kata2 Papa memang betul ... " Banyak - banyak sabar ! " ..
- untuk berubah adalah idea, melakukan perubahan adalah berani, setia dengan perubahan adalah ujian abadi
- menonton Twilight Eclipse adalah satu kontradiksi ... dialog ala2 Mills & Boon ... aksi yang menarik ... formula kejayaan siri ini ( buku dan wayang ) adalah senang sahaja ... give them what they want and make it interesting .. and merchandising :D .. dan pastikan watak2 lelakinya ada misteri dan body :)

Bisnes

- it has begun.
- mula kecil - kecil, biarkan ia menjadi bukit
- and minda harus ditetapkan bahawa ia adalah perniagaan :)

Kisah Permainan

hmm... Toy Story 3 best especially kalau kalian sudah menonton kedua-dua filem Toy Story sebelum ini.

Movie ini mengajar bagaimana kita harus melepaskan realiti yang dahulu dan menghadapi realiti yg akan datang ... pemergian Andy ke IPT ( college ) menjadi alat2 permainan itu gusar, kerana mereka telah berkongsi macam2 pengalaman dengannya... kira dalam filem ini fokus adalah perubahan ... in the end, Andy dan the toys let go of each other dan masing2 pergi ke destinasi baru. Hanya sebuah kisah di layar perak ? Rasanya ia relevan untuk masa kita ...

Change will always .. it is important how we deal with changes in our life ... and it will always be there ....

Sepi + Criminal Minds

1) Sepi

Aku menonton Sepi petang tadi. Pada pendapat aku, ia adalah salah satu filem Melayu yang bagus sejak kebelakangan ini. Tahniah kepada Kaber Bhatia + pasukan, kerana menghasilkan satu karya yang mebuat aku bangga dengan filem Melayu. Tidak ada unsur2 melalut dan merapik, tidak seperti karya seorang professor. Kisah Adam adalah yang paling mengesankan kerana aku pernah melaluinya, kisah Sufi mengingatkan aku tentang keluarga dan cinta dan kisah Imaan membuat aku menghargai kehadiran orang2 yang ku sayang.

The photography, the mood and the dialogue was perfect.

2) Criminal Minds - North Mammon

Just watched the episode earlier tonight. And it struck a nerve. Suffice to say that it triggered a few memories of high school n college years. I see the point of the main protagonist, the reason he did the things he did. But that is no excuse. I would have used the same excuse years ago ... but not anymore. As I learnt a few years ago, we all have the power of choice in how we respond to the going-ons in our life.

Like the comment I made in this blog post, one of the key moves I made was to define my own success / failure. It is still evolving ( mind you ) .. but I am not worried much about it. I know where I want to go ... at least there is a destination at the end of the journey.

I still have some minor issues with my past, but most of the time, I am at peace with it... those that troubled me are the ones that are still unresolved. But I am on the way to resolving them.

One last thing, most of the methods of the self-help and motivation books available in the market do actually work. To read it is one thing, but the key to improve / change, is to practice it.

Hung Up On Memories

For the past few days, memories have come back again. Memories of Jasin especially and DagangNet.

I am still hung up on these memories , at times, dwelling on the what-ifs, etc.

*sigh* it is time to the let that ship sail. I will let it go,.. as I have the rest of my life to live.

I am adjusting on my time to my new workplace. It is kind of bliss ... flexi hours ... :-) ... I have considered this gig to be the one that I have dreamed of ... however, tomorrow ... another employment opportunity, where the monetary rewards are substantial. What do you do ? Here, where I am ... the RM is not exactly top of the line .. where else there .. the RM is good .. but I have always preached to others ... follow your heart, don't follow the RM .. is it time for me to follow my own wisdom ?

I guess ... the ding-donging is due to the fact of life necessities nowadays ... on one hand you want to follow your dreams ... on the other hand, you want security.

Decisions .. decisions ....

I saw Ghost Rider a during the Chinese New Year and I would say that it is a pretty cool entertainment especially if you are a biker. That mean machine he rides is a beauty.

I am sure that some have seen the movie or the comic, but for me, the cool thing that he has is the Penance Stare, as was so nicely demonstrated in the movie ;-) Have you ever felt of giving one to the person(s) you hate and despise. Admit it, you do ....
