The Hardest Thing To Do is to admit that you are wrong .. and what to do about it. Apa yang berlaku dua minggu kebelakangan ini memberi satu notis kepada diri ini yang aku GILA. GILA bak kata Einstein, melakukan perkara yang sama dan mengharapkan keputusan / kesudahan yang lain. Dan tidak seperti dahulu, aku mulakan perubahan dengan langkah - langkah kecil. Kecil - kecil, lama - lama menjadi bukit, InsyaAllah.

Dua tiga hari pelbagai perasaan dan fikiran melanda diri ini .. hmm ... yang pasti, masa hadapan akan dilalui dengan lebih semangat dan tawakkal ... kalau tiada usaha, bagaimana nak mengharap sesuatu ye ...

hehe ... lama tak jumpa .. long time no posts .. I have been preoccupied with so many things.. anyway, something new just came up ... this is my first picture taken with my laptop camera .. yours truly has one .. after so many years..

Life is good ... mcm2 ada .... some time late this September probably, some change will come ....

The Lesson of A Lost Tooth

I had a minor surgery today .. removing a gigi geraham bongsu. Being the mercy of the dentist has never been one of my favorite activities, but today was a must do.  Last week, I went to my annual dental checkup at a clinic in Bangi. Normally I would do it in Rawang, but since now I am now staying in Bangi, might as well do it here. The doctor, Dr Mazlina, checked my teeth and gave me the news. The upper left gigi geraham bongsu was dying and sooner or later it would be painful. " Sooner or later ", she said, " it would be very painful and you kena cabut anyway...". After the checkup, I decided to just get an appointment to get the procedure. It was not needed, at the moment but must be done eventually, so I figured, just get it over and done with. I did not think much of the operation till last night. It was scary I guess, but it was something that I had to do to avoid future problems with my teeth. I did the procedure ... sakit la jugak a bit but credit to the good doctor, she was good and it was over in about 20 minutes. Tapi, malu la .. keluar air mata sikit sebab tahan sakit.

The point of the above paragraph is that when it became a must, I took the plunge and was better for it. And, as I feel the empty space where the tooth used to be, I think that single fact is the key for a better future. As Tony Robbins says it, when should become a must, then it will start to work ..

I have a lot of shoulds ... and from now on, those shoulds must change into musts .... a lesson learnt from a lost tooth.

So Many Happy News

Today has been a good day ( personally ) for good news of friends.

To Acat n Cookie, the fruit of their offspring is on the way. Even though it is still early, take care okay !! The story on her and his blog about the news is quite interesting ... hehehe .... I am still reminded the day my wife told me that she was positive and carrying Zara. The first word that came out was " Alamak ! '  hehehe .... but I didn't get morning sickness ;-) Acat apparently is ... :D

To Binxie, this piece of news was really good ! Imagine, her rezeki and to top it off, she is going back to her old place with a better position ( and better pay ). This lady deserves it, after mcm2 that she has been through .... ACCA, her old office bla2s ... it's true kan Binx, what does not kill you makes you stronger ;-)

Both news helped to cheer up my day a bit. Especially what happened earlier in KL ... but that is another blog.

Now, I am at my new spot ... in academia, in a semi private university. Funny thing is, around May this year .. I told myself that I will be teaching in academia, by September this year. And, walla, the opportunity appeared.

So here I am .. at a new world. Since  I had already decided to go into academia the day I decided to pursue my Masters, I didn't hesitate to accept the offer when it came.

It has been a easy going process so far. I would not be teaching till this November, as the current semester is about to end. Rather, I am getting used to academia flow, if there is such a term.

2) Future

The future is what we plan and make of it.. what was in the past, stays there. Repeat this phrase :-)

I guess all of us have memories of childhood which we still cherish and do not want it to be tarnished in any way. Cookie was being honest about this, but the person in her post, still hung on.

I'd be honest. When I think about my past crushes, this song would play on and on... and it kind of got me down. But, the moment I made the decision to move on, eventually my darling wife came along .... and god willing, she is the real thing :-)

Kyur 4 Da Itch

How do you do, amigos ? ;-)

Do you know that when you have so many things running .. you tend to lose the track of time :D ..

yeps, with MPL having two siblings .. TMOP and PNFL .. I have to be churning ideas for articles for three blogs. ;-)

Also, with my personal ( family ), work and other activities now going on ... I feel like I am in a spin, but .... I like it .. at least, I can see that I am figuring out AND working things out ... that AND is an important word :-)

A note on the other activities ... I plan to go out of my comfort zone ;-)

Another update is that yours truly is finally wearing a graduation gown this coming May. After four years of working through, I am getting the Masters that I studied for, albeit delayed for a year ...... anyway, it is about 70% confirmed, but need to settle the details ( pendaftaran, pembayaran, etc )

I have not been blogging for the past few days ... suffice to say that my time management skills which were nearly non-existent, are being honed and due to that, I am learning ...

Work is currently going on and it's getting more and more interesting ... for the first few months, I knew that I will have extreme hi n lows .. but, it is all part of the process ...

Yes, my darling is five months already .. so far syukur semuanya okay .. it is hitting me that in the middle of this year ... yours truly will be responsible for another human being ... dang !! I want my freedom back ;-) ... hehehe ....

Life must go on and evolve ya ..
